How can I help you?I am now taking Sunday preaching engagements for 2022, in person or over the Zoom video-conferencing platform.I am also available to speak at church and leadership away-days. My particular interests include making disciples, exploring prayer and spirituality and aspects of outreach and evangelism, servant leadership and charity governance.If you think I could help you in any aapects of church life or support ministry in any way, please do get in touch.Relevant experienceI originally studied science at Cambridge University and taught chemistry, computing and religious studies. Since graduating in Theology in 1985 from London Bible College (now London School of Theology) I have been a Baptist Minister. I received the MA in Biblical Interpretation from LBC in 1995.I have worked as a consultant leading more than a dozen churches through processes of Mission Consultancy.With a background in computing I have helped a number of ministers and churches in aspects of information technology, websites, social media, digital church and digital mission. I have served as a Home Mission Visitor to churches for more than 30 years and more recently to pioneering projects and on the Grants Committee of the Eastern Baptist Association for the last 8 years. My ecumenical experience includes six years as Moderator of Churches Together In Brentwood with a further three years as their Secretary, and also two years as President of the Tunbridge Wells Council of Christian Churches.I have served on the Council (Trustee Board) of the EBA for the last 9 years, initially taking the lead on Mission Resourcing and more recently on Finance and Administration (Governance). I have also served on the committees of various charities including Harvest for the Hungry, On The Move East and the Churches Network for Gypsies, Travellers and Roma.Since 2013 I have been the Treasurer and Webmaster of The College of Baptist Ministers.I have served as a mentor to ministers for the last 30 years as well as Moderator for a number of churches in pastoral vacancy.
