A relaxed gathering to explore the truth about Jesus Christ through watching parts of a suitable video and then discussing anything the participants would like to talk about. We have used Zeffirelli’s Jesus of Nazareth (starring Robert Powell) as Jesus but you could equally use e.g. “The Jesus Video”, “The Miracle Maker” or even “Jesus Christ Superstar”. The flyer describes the course like this.
“Six weeks exploring the truth about Jesus Christ. We begin around 7.45 pm with coffee and cake. At 8 pm a short video DVD introduces the topic for the evening, finishing by 9.15 pm. Each week includes plenty of time to discuss questions.”
With a supporting booklet introducing each evenings the topics are:

- Feeding the 5000 – life in all its fullness
- Good Friday – who died why?
