I first studied science at Trinity Hall Cambridge and taught chemistry and computer studies at Watford Grammar School. I then studied theology at London Bible College (now London School of Theology). I was ordained in 1986 and has served Baptist churches in Tunbridge Wells, Borehamwood (also planting Elstree Free Church) and Brentwood before moving to North Springfield in 2010. In 1995 I was awarded the MA in Biblical Interpretation again at LBC with a dissertation on The Nature of Biblical Authority.
I have particular interests in church growth principles and mission consultancy as well as ministry, prayer and discipleship. In 2008 I published “Making Disciples One-to-One – Courses for Christian Growth”. I served for nine years on on the Council of the Eastern Baptist Association as Task Group Leader for Finance and Administration I am also Treasurer of The College of Baptist Ministers www.collegeofbaptistministers.com
