We look in depth at probably the most widely-known verse in the Bible, the gospel in a nutshell, and consider three questions.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

? Did Jesus say those words?

? What does “so loved the world” mean?
“In this way” NOT “so much”

? How did God show his love to the world?
Through the cross vv 14-15 NOT by “gave his Son”
